Personal Achievements
In 2005 Jason’s talent and tenacity was rewarded with a Professional Footballers Association award. Each year forty four players are chosen by the association and voted for by their fellow players to receive the award for outstanding sportsmanship. This award would signify things to come for Jason.
In 2010 Jason received a profound accolade, by being appointed Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in the 2010 New Years Honors list for his services to sport in Grenada and England.
A majority of Jason’s free time is spent working on the Jason Roberts Foundation, created in 2007. Jason has brought together his love for Grenada and passion for the beautiful game in a way that benefits hundreds of people. The aim of the foundation is “to provide a range of sporting opportunities for children and young people in the UK and Grenada”.
