Leyton Orient
Tuesday’s match against Leyton Orient Carlin cup was very competitive. Even though they haven’t been getting great results in league One Orient played very well against us. It was a tough game, which we won 3-2; it was nice to get my first goal of the season via the penalty.
Penalties are always a challenge, mentally more than anything. I’ve scored a majority, but I’ve also missed some, so it was nice to put one in the back of the net.
One of the disappointments on Tuesday was that my old strike partner Jamie Cureton, who plays for Leyton Orient, was injured, because I was looking forward to seeing him.
