Match against Arsenal
Our match against Arsenal was a vital game for the club; I thought our performance was full of character, courage and skill. I was especially happy for Yakubu who scored two goals and Jason Lowe, who had a fantastic game for a young 19-year-old.
After securing a point against Fulham it was important to keep the momentum going. Our 4-3 win will hopefully be a stepping stone to go on to a run of good results. We knew Arsenal would want to come to Ewood Park and make sure they won, because of how their season has started.
We have some big games coming up and we have to make sure we get more points on the board especially after beating a Champions League side.
