Visiting Villa Park
We are looking forward to the Challenge of visiting Villa Park on Sat!
They are a very good team who we also seem to play at least 5 times a Season and I must admit our record at Villa Park is not great in recent times but we will approach this game in a confident mood.
The Club seem to be making some exciting movements in the Transfer Market and being a Blackburn Rovers Player is nothing if not exciting at the moment!
Villa are a very powerful team with explosive players in forward positions! There is no doubt that we will have to keep their danger man Darren Bent quiet if we want to win this game!
In midfield they are very athletic and we will have to match their very high energy levels to retain possession!
The central defensive pairing of Collins and Dunne are a throwback to the old fashioned centre halves that pride themselves on being physical and Dominant in the air. Many people think Shay Given is up there with the best Keepers in the game and I would certainly agree with that!
Playing away from Home in the Premier League is always a Challenge but with the Crop of exciting young talent we have I am sure we will try to approach the game with a positive frame of mind and give our best to return to Ewood with the 3 Points.
